Introduction

Learn to count from 1 to 10 — the building blocks of all arithmetic. This interactive lesson uses visual animations to help you recognize and write the first ten counting numbers.

Numbers 1 Through 10

The numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are the first ten counting numbers. Each number represents a quantity exactly one greater than the one before it. Together they form the foundation of our entire number system.
